About Us

We are a small church rooted in the community and here to serve Widnes. We are a group of all ages who seek to follow Jesus Christ. Our building maybe old but the church is alive and growing.

We have a range of activities which you are welcome to join. We have Bible based teaching. Our worship is informal and combines contemporary songs and hymns. There are also many opportunities to meet people and discover the reality of a life transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.

We are a group of ordinary people who seek to follow Jesus Christ. In Jesus we find meaning and purpose to our lives, and we seek to serve and care for YOU in his name. We are a small community but with a vision to grow. New people have been visiting us and some of them have decided to join us.

Our Aim is to be Christians in a practical way. Together we shall make every effort to fulfil our mission and to serve you by being open, outgoing and welcoming. Comments from visitors to our church are that there is real warmth and that they feel the presence of God as they join with us in worship. You're Welcome!

New Church's Structure

In 2006 we adopted the Purpose Driven Church principles and structure as the church model to follow. This model is built around six biblical purposes, consequently the church is organised around these 6 ministries: 

Discipleship, Fellowship, Worship, Service, Evangelism and Administration. Their leaders are: John Petch, Gloria Edwards, Alison Young, Phillip & Annabell Collard.

Secretary: Sandra Petch, Treasurer: Carl Elkington

Pastor: Rev. Nestor J Fernandez he is member ex-officio of each ministry, and gets involved in preaching, teaching, pastoral care, visionary leadership, etc
