Meeting together as God's people, whether on Sunday or midweek, is a crucial part of being God's family
Sunday Morning Worship at 11:00am: What to expect?, Fellowship, Worship, teaching, praying for our town, church and family, and relevant preaching. We have a mixture of new songs, kids songs and familiar hymns. Children leave to go to their groups during the service, they have Games, Cartoon videos, Crafts and Bible stories. This is followed by refreshments. |
House Groups:Thursdays at 7.30pm What happens in a House group? - Bible study that encourages biblical thinking and living - Prayer with and for one another - Christian friendship that forgives, rejoices & shares - Evangelism. Encouraging personal evangelism and group events - Pastoral care that strengthens members for Christian living and service Just looking Being new can be quite a daunting experience . |
Community Activities There is a range of activities, please feel very welcome to join in the ones most suitable for you. Knit & Natter:1st, 3rd & 5th Tuesdays of each month 1.00pm – 3.00pm. A friendly group who knit for charity Mighty Minies: Parents, babies & toddlers activity. Every Tuesday from 10:30 - 12:00m This & That: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month 1.00pm – 3.00pm. Games, social, speakers, trips. Film night: Sunday evening, once a month at 7.00pm These new films are generally related to Biblical stories and events. Chair & Chat: Fridays anytime from 10:00am- 12.30pm. Tea, coffee, toast, cake and social group. Spanish classes for beginners:Once a week evening course lasting approx. 15 weeks. Planning a holiday to a Spanish speaking country? Lead by a native teacher with 3 successful courses in the last 2 years. Alpha course:An national 11week course held in members homes or at our church premises on Deacon Road The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It is relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun. There is a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives you an opportunity to get to know each other. Listen, learn, discuss and discover. You are welcome to sit and observe or fire away any questions. |

One 2 one over coffee:Friday 10:00/Sunday 12:30 (an alternative date can also be arranged). If you want to find out more about Jesus, the church or you just want a listening ear on a one 2 one basis.
40 days of purpose:A 6 week course which aims to help us understand why we are alive. By the end of the course you will know God's purpose for your life and will understand the big picture. Having this perspective will reduce your stress, simplify your decisions and to prepare you for eternity.
New members:A short course for those interested in either being baptised or joining as members of the church. Learn more about the church and it's purpose.
